Role Spotlights: Key Responsibilities
Working for an airline requires high precision and strict adherence to international safety and service standards.
1. Sales and Marketing (Sales & Reservations)
These officers are the face of the airline for many customers.
- Duties: Managing flight bookings, issuing tickets via the Global Distribution System (GDS), handling re-routings, and providing top-tier customer service at airport counters or city offices.
2. Flight Crew Scheduling Officer II
A critical operational role that ensures flights are properly staffed.
- Duties: Managing the rosters for pilots and cabin crew, ensuring compliance with Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) fatigue and rest requirements, and handling last-minute crew substitutions.
3. ICT Officer II (Network & Systems Management)
The backbone of the airline’s digital operations.
- Duties: Ensuring the continuous availability of the booking portal, managing secure internal networks, and troubleshooting hardware/software used in aircraft maintenance and passenger check-ins.
