Based in Dar es Salaam, this role is essential for maintaining the operational backbone of the HR department, ensuring that every employee—from Recovery Agents to Technicians—is supported from their first day to their last.

Role Overview: Excellence in HR Coordination
The HR Assistant is responsible for the full lifecycle of employee documentation and administrative support. This role requires a high degree of organization to manage everything from medical insurance onboarding to health and safety committee planning.
Key Responsibilities & Areas of Impact
1. Onboarding & Documentation Management
- Personnel Files: Ensure all new staff have complete hard and soft copy files containing all required identification and professional documents.
- Contract Compliance: Guarantee that all contracts include signed Job Descriptions (JDs) and the specific Code of Conduct relevant to the employee’s technical role.
- Induction Planning: Prepare and execute induction schedules, ensuring new hires are trained by their respective Heads of Departments (HUDs).
2. Staff Benefits & Welfare
- Medical Scheme: Onboard eligible staff to the medical scheme, facilitate card issuance, and serve as the primary contact for employees needing hospital assistance.
- Leave Management: Track leave utilization using annual calendars and advise HUDs on outstanding balances to reduce leave liability and ensure staff rest.
- Uniforms & Equipment: Coordinate with the Group HR Manager to ensure new expected staff have all necessary uniforms and gear ready before their start date.
3. Training & Development
- Imprest Facilitation: Manage training letters and imprest forms to ensure finance provides necessary allowances for staff development.
- Record Keeping: Maintain the central Training File, including attendance lists and post-training reports for all new staff and “Elites.”
4. Workplace Safety & Communication
- Health & Safety: Serve as an active member of the Health and Safety Committee, taking minutes for quarterly meetings and ensuring fire safety equipment and labels are compliant.
- Engagement: Curate content for quarterly newsletters and organize interdepartmental sporting events to foster team spirit.
5. Exit Procedures
- Offboarding: Manage exit files with precision, ensuring all clearance letters, resignation/termination documents, and final dues tabulations are signed and archived.
Candidate Profile: Requirements & Skills
Eezy Group is looking for a candidate who combines a solid academic foundation with strong interpersonal ethics.
Academic & Professional Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management.
- Certification: Professional HR certifications (e.g., PHRi or local Tanzanian HR board registration) are a significant advantage.
Core Skills & Competencies:
- Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of Tanzanian Labour Laws and HR best practices.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to track data (like leave liability and attendance) and provide actionable insights.
- Interpersonal Ethics: Exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to handle sensitive information with absolute confidentiality.
