1. Faculty of Commerce and Business Studies (FOCB)
Assistant Lecturer (3 Positions) – Re-advertised
Duty Station: Chief Mazengo Campus – Dodoma
Reports to: Dean, FOCB
Job Summary:
The Assistant Lecturer will work under the guidance of senior academic staff to conduct teaching, research, participate in curriculum development, and offer consultancy services.
1.1 Assistant Lecturer – Accounting (1 Post)
Qualifications:
- Master of Business Administration (Accounting) OR MSc in Accounting & Finance
- Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting) or Bachelor of Accounting & Finance (BAF)
- Minimum GPA: 3.5 at undergraduate level and 4.0 at Master’s level
1.2 Assistant Lecturer – Health Services Management (2 Posts)
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Health Services Management, Public Health, Epidemiology & Biostatistics, Health Systems Management, or a related area
- Bachelor’s Degree in Health Services Management, Health Systems Management, or business-related fields
- Minimum GPA: 3.5 (Bachelor) and 4.0 (Master)
Lecturer – Human Resource Management (1 Post) – Re-advertised
Duty Station: Chief Mazengo Campus – Dodoma
Reports to: Dean, FOCB
Job Summary:
The Lecturer will conduct full teaching responsibilities, supervise research, and participate in consultancy and community service activities.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Human Resource Management
- Master of Science or MBA in HRM
- Bachelor of Business Administration in HRM
- Minimum GPA: 3.5 (Bachelor) and 4.0 (Master)
- Experience in teaching at higher learning institutions is an added advantage
Tenure: Four-year renewable contract based on performance

2. Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences (FaNAS)
Assistant Lecturer – Physics (1 Post)

Reports to: Dean, FaNAS
Job Summary:
The role involves teaching undergraduate courses, supporting departmental activities, conducting research, and participating in consultancy.

- Master of Science in Physics
- Bachelor of Science with Education (Physics)

The Lecturer will teach, supervise students, engage in research, and provide consultancy services in one or more of the following areas:
- Unit Processes & Pharmaceutical Calculations
- Pharmacotherapy
- Pharmacognosy
Qualifications:
- PhD in Pharmacy
- Master of Science/Master of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutics
- Bachelor of Pharmacy
- Minimum GPA: 3.5 (Bachelor) and 4.0 (Master)
- Teaching experience at tertiary institutions is an added advantage
