Duties and Responsibilities
For Teachers
- Prepare and deliver well-structured lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Develop schemes of work, lesson plans, and teaching materials for daily instruction.
- Assess, record, and report on students’ academic progress and overall performance.
- Maintain an engaging, positive, and supportive classroom environment.
- Provide guidance to learners, promote discipline, and ensure the safety and welfare of all pupils.
- Participate in school meetings, academic events, and professional development trainings.
- Prepare students for internal and national examinations, particularly for Class IV and VII (an added advantage).
- Collaborate with fellow teachers, academic departments, and the school administration to promote continuous improvement.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of School or academic supervisors.
For Drivers
- Inspect the school vehicle before and after each trip to ensure safety and roadworthiness.
- Perform minor maintenance and promptly report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and proper documentation at all times.
- Drive responsibly, following all traffic rules and safety guidelines.
- Ensure the safety of students and their belongings during transportation.
- Maintain good communication with parents, guardians, and school staff.
- Keep track of transport schedules and adhere to assigned routes.
- Carry out additional tasks as directed by the school management.
Job Requirements
Teacher Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Education, Early Childhood Education, or relevant subject specialization from a recognized institution.
- At least three (3) years of teaching experience.
- Strong command of the English language, both spoken and written.
- Experience teaching Class IV and Class VII will be an added advantage.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate reliability and flexibility.
- High level of maturity, integrity, and teamwork.
Driver Qualifications
- Age between 35–45 years.
- Valid Class C driving license and a recognized driving certificate.
- At least three years of driving experience, preferably with school vehicles.
- Knowledge of vehicle mechanics and ability to identify mechanical faults.
- Good communication skills and excellent conduct toward children, parents, and staff.
- Women are encouraged to apply.
