Talanta H Solution is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Supervisor to lead and oversee daily sales operations within the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector across Tanzania. This role is ideal for a dynamic professional who can manage a sales team, drive aggressive market growth, and maintain exceptional levels of performance in a competitive environment. The Sales Supervisor will play a central role in ensuring the team consistently meets set sales targets, expands market reach, and strengthens customer relationships with key retailers, distributors, and wholesalers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding a sales team through effective coaching, training, and performance monitoring. This includes developing sales strategies, analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and addressing challenges that arise in the field. The role requires strong problem-solving abilities, especially when handling complex client concerns or negotiating with distributors and retail partners. The ideal candidate must be able to balance fieldwork with reporting responsibilities, providing management with accurate sales forecasts, territory insights, and performance evaluations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct regular field visits to monitor team performance, client relationships, and competitor activities.
• Address complex customer issues and negotiate terms with distributors and retailers.
• Train, mentor, and motivate the sales team to improve their performance, product knowledge, and selling skills.
• Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to management.
• Track and evaluate sales team productivity using CRM and sales-management tools.
• Build strong relationships with key accounts and support the company’s distribution channels.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, sales processes, and FMCG sector standards.
• Support promotional activities and product launches to maximize market impact.

Job Requirements
• Minimum of three years of experience in FMCG sales.
• Strong supervision and team-leadership skills.
