Job Description
Realstar Security Company is seeking a highly driven and results-oriented Sales and Marketing Officer to join our team in Arusha. This position is strictly based in Arusha and plays a critical role in expanding the company’s footprint within the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling the company’s full range of security services and solutions, including CCTV systems, alarms, guarding services, and other security-related products tailored to the needs of the Arusha market.
The role requires a proactive professional who understands regional customer needs and can develop tailored sales and marketing approaches to maximize business growth. You will be expected to identify new business opportunities, engage potential clients through strategic outreach, and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. This means executing the entire sales cycle—from prospecting, client meetings, and needs assessments to preparing proposals, presenting solutions, and negotiating contracts. A strong ability to influence decision-makers and close deals is essential to succeed in this role.
The position offers a competitive compensation structure comprising a monthly base salary of 500,000 TZS plus unlimited commissions based on performance. This provides the ideal environment for ambitious sales professionals who thrive in a performance-driven setting. You will work independently in the Arusha territory while receiving guidance and support from the company’s management team to ensure alignment with overall business goals.
Beyond sales, this role includes a significant marketing component. You will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility across Arusha. This includes designing promotional campaigns, conducting market research, analyzing consumer behavior, and supporting advertising activities that position Realstar Security Company as a trusted provider of reliable security solutions. You will also leverage CRM tools to track leads, manage client interactions, and maintain updated sales reports for management review.
This role is ideal for a motivated and disciplined individual who understands market dynamics, communicates effectively, and brings a customer-focused mindset to every engagement. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to work independently, travel within the region when required, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets through strategic, value-driven selling.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Generate new business opportunities through field visits, prospecting, and outreach activities.
• Promote and sell security services, including CCTV, alarms, guards, and customized security solutions.
• Conduct client needs assessments and prepare detailed proposals aligned with customer requirements.
• Lead presentations, negotiate terms, and close sales contracts to meet monthly performance targets.
• Develop and implement effective marketing campaigns that enhance brand visibility.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs and local competition.
• Maintain accurate customer records using CRM tools and prepare regular sales reports.
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
• Collaborate with management to align sales strategies with company objectives.
• Provide exceptional customer service and follow-up support after contract signing.
• Travel within the Arusha region to meet clients and explore emerging sales opportunities.
Job Requirements
• Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the security industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of the Arusha market and local customer needs.
• Ability to design and execute effective marketing campaigns.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships.
• Knowledge of security services and products is an added advantage.
