Job Description:
HCPL is seeking a highly experienced Internal Auditor to join their team in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The ideal candidate will possess 10 or more years of overall auditing experience, with a critical focus on risk management, compliance reporting, and robust financial auditing. A minimum of three years of dedicated internal audit experience within the hotel or hospitality industry is a mandatory requirement for this senior role.
The role involves significant hands-on responsibility for audit planning, executing operational checks, and comprehensive P&L reviews. The auditor will be responsible for identifying control weaknesses, preparing detailed audit reports, and driving the implementation of effective corrective actions across various operational areas to ensure organizational integrity and efficiency.

Job Requirements:
10+ years of overall auditing experience.
• At least 3 years of internal audit experience in the hospitality/hotel industry (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment and internal controls.
• Expertise in compliance reporting and regulatory frameworks.
• Hands-on experience in financial audits and P&L analysis.
• Proven ability to conduct operational reviews and checks.
• Ability to prepare comprehensive audit reports, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPA/ACCA certification or equivalent preferred.
